I grew up in rural Iowa, where life moved a little slower and home meant something. It meant supper around the table, a porch light left on, and neighbors who knew your name. I raised my kids with those same country values, in a place where there wasn't much hustle and bustle, just the good, simple comforts of rural life.

A few years ago I moved to Minnesota looking for steady work. As the years go by, I find myself missing those comforts I grew up with more and more. So now I'm stepping out on my own to follow a dream: bringing that warmth and comfort into other people's homes.
